The Transformable desk. A top of absolute purity that hides a complete workstation — and reveals it only when you need it.
Closed
It disappears.
A 1600 × 760 mm top, 40 mm thick, in matt black stained oak veneer. Slim 22 mm edges, flat steel legs. At rest nothing protrudes, nothing betrays the technology inside.
Open
It gets to work.
Put your phone down: within seconds the screen rises, the keyboard and touchpad appear, and the top closes again around them. Once connected, the surface is completely flat again.
The transformation
Seven and a half seconds, designed to the millimetre.
- 0 s
Two flush panels drop 13 mm, then slide apart beneath the charging areas. The keyboard cover slides away.
- 1.9 s
The screen, stored face down within the top, stands up on its column. The keyboard and touchpad are already out.
- 4.7 s
It rises 149 mm to eye level, tilted at 12°.
- 5.5 s
The panels return beneath the screen.
- 7.4 s
They rise flush: the top is completely whole again. You're ready.
Closing follows the same path in reverse.
In detail
27-inch 4K screen
A 4K panel in a slim 18 mm shell, its back veneered in the same wood as the top. Bottom edge 95 mm above the top, top edge at 443 mm: the right height, with no stand to adjust.
Keyboard and touchpad
An ultra-slim keyboard and a precision touchpad, stored under a cover that drops and slides back under the top. They rise flush with the surface.
Free-position charging
Two 400 × 680 mm areas fitted with three interleaved layers of coils: your phone charges wherever you put it, up to 15 W depending on the model.
Materials
Birch and oak laminated top, stable over time; matt black veneer cut from the same sheet for the top, the panels and the cover; copper line; powder-coated steel.
Safety
Every movement is slow, braked and monitored by force sensors. Without power, nothing moves. A manual override lets you put everything away by hand.
Quiet and frugal
Motors driven in silent mode, designed to stay below 35 dB. In standby, the desk draws about 1.2 W.
